WHAT IS FASCIA & WHY DO WE CARE?

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, muscle, bone, nerve, and blood vessel in the body. It houses and guides lymphatic vessels throughout the body, It is semi crystalline, generates it’s own electricity, and transfers information and qi (energy) through the body at the speed of light. It is really amazing and important, but seldom discussed.

When your fascia is not operating optimally, neither are you.

You may experience this as physical inflexibility, aches and pains, emotional instability, hormonal issues, low immunity, dehydration. You will be brittle and dry and ageing.

Over the last thirteen years of teaching movement and working with bodies, fascia is the zone I have settled in to. It feels most useful, helpful, accessible.
